Watermark Books and Cafe

Watermark offers meeting spaces for community groups and book clubs, baby showers and teacher in-service days, board retreats and planning sessions. Catering and beverage service is available for meeting groups, and well as projection systems.

Room reservations require a credit card on file for the $20.00 food guarantee and any additional fees. If the room reservation and catering is to be paid by one person, we can either bill the card on file or via different tender at the time of your meeting. If your group pays for food on separate bills, however, here's how it works:

1) At the time of reservation, we'll take your credit card number to guarantee the room. We will not bill the card until after the meeting occurs.

2) During your meeting, collect any receipts for food purchases that you would like credit for.

3) Submit those receipts to the front desk in the envelope provided when you leave.

4) Those food receipts will be tallied for the group. If they do not total $20.00, we will bill the difference on the credit card. If they add up to more than $20.00, your credit card will not be billed.

5) If you have any fees for projector, screen, additional catering, etc., they will be billed on the credit card after the meeting.

The Inglenook can be reserved for 1 hour or less without a credit card guarantee. For more than one hour, the same structure listed above applies. Since the Inglenook is a part of the bookstore, customers must be allowed access to it, and we might be moving in and out of the area. The Inglenook is not available during author readings and signings.

The Author Autography Gallery

This space seats up to 25 comfortably, and is available for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Breakfast trays, soup and sandwich trays, or even casserole and salad buffets work well in this space. A beverage spread can include coffee, tea and water. And a dessert tray wraps up the event nicely. The room fee is waived with a catering order. (Because we have a restaurant, outside food cannot be brought in.) Projector and screen available for a nominal fee.

The Starry Night Room

This space seats up to 40 comfortably, and is also available for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It works well with a full buffet, including a beverage and dessert spread. The room fee is waived with a catering order. The room can accomodate a screen and projection system. (Because we have a restaurant, outside food cannot be brought in.) Projector and screen available for a nominal fee.
